OUR HERITAGE
In the Summer of 1968, South Moon Under opened in Ocean City, Maryland as a small surf shop stocked with hand-shaped surfboards, screen-printed tees, and swimwear. It has since evolved into an elevated everyday shopping destination for the effortlessly cool woman and man, with brick-and-mortar locations in small communities and big cities alike, as well as SouthMoonUnder.com.

Inspired by our heritage and the dynamic lifestyles of our customers, South Moon Under offers a highly curated assortment of women’s & men’s apparel, accessories, and swimwear combined with the authentically familiar and friendly service of our dedicated stylists — tenants that were instilled in the founding store over 50 years ago.
